THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT PEOPLES BANK VITOP TRIPS:
- You do not have to bank with Peoples Bank to enjoy the trips. There is a small guest fee, usually $5 per day. Members are 50+ and maintain a minimum balance of $2,000 in any checking, savings, Certificate of Deposit or IRA.
- VItoP members are covered with $100,000 Common Carrier Insurance per account.
- Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance is included on all overnight trips.
- Gift certificates are available at all Peoples Bank locations.
- MasterCard, Visa, Discover & American Express may be used for payment for any Peoples Bank trip.

Saturday, June 27, 2009- "LEGALLY BLONDE" AT TPAC
The hilarious MGM film and Broadway’s new smash hit musical will take you from the sorority house to the halls of justice with the bright, trendy heroine Elle Woods and her Chihuahua, Bruiser. The verdict? This much fun shouldn’t be legal! Your daughters and granddaughters will love it!
Lunch is included at Martha’s at the Plantation (Belle Meade). Cost is $130 for members, $135 for guests, with final payment due on May 25th. Departure from Savannah Walmart at 8 AM, Peoples Bank in Clifton at 8:30 AM, and E.W. James in Waynesboro at 9 AM.
Wednesday, July 15, 2009 - STROKE DETECTION PLUS SCREENING
Call for an appointment to have four screenings that could save your life or the life of a loved one! We are hosting the following tests as a service to our VItoP Club members and bank customers at the Waynesboro office: Stroke, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Peripheral Arterial Disease, and Osteoporosis. Cost to VItoP Club Members for all four screenings is $90. Bank customers (who aren’t VItoP Club members) will pay $100, and non-bank customers pay $120. Cost for individual screenings is $40. Saturday, August 22, 2009 - GRAND OLE OPRY
Another night of great entertainment at the Grand Ole Opry with an early dinner at the Loveless Cafe is on the agenda. This popular trip always fills up fast, so call right away if you want to go. Hold your space with a refundable deposit of $20; the full price is $90 for members and $95 for guests. Departure is 12 Noon from Walmart in Savannah, 12:30 p.m. from Peoples Bank in Clifton, and 1:00 p.m. from Peoples Bank in Waynesboro. Final payment is due on July 17th.

October 9-13, 2009 - ALBUQUERQUE HOT-AIR BALLOON FIESTA
This trip features a flight to Albuquerque, a stop at Old Town, followed by a nighttime hot-air balloon display. Saturday morning features a sunrise balloon ride for those who want to go! All of us will get to see the Fiesta, and then we’ll visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and enjoy a guided tour of Albuquerque. On Sunday, we’ll travel to Santa Fe for a guided tour. October 24, 2009- THE BELL WITCH
Adams, TN, overflows with history and mystery. The infamous Bell Witch, a spirit that tormented the Bell family for years and is well-documented, has inspired the perfect spooky October tour.
Visit the Bell High School, which is now home to the Adams Museum, an antique mall, and also the cafeteria and tearoom, where we will have lunch. Afterwards, a local guide will entertain us with the Bell Witch story and a tour of the haunted area—we might even witness some eerie encounter to raise the hairs on the back of our necks. Cost and departure time are to be determined.
Other trips may be added, such as Broadway shows, Gaither Homecoming, Carl Hurley appearances, and Dixie Theater schedules are released. Watch the Web site for information as it becomes available!
