Autry Gobbell | President & CEO

Autry Gobbell grew up in the banking business, working first as a teller at the Bank of Waynesboro in Collinwood when he was 18 years old. He later moved to Peoples Bank in Clifton under Bank President Norman Waters, working in every available position over the years. In 1979, he was named president and CEO. His experience in the investment field has produced favorable profits for the Bank. Mr. Gobbell is credited with most of the innovative ideas born at our Bank, and he remains a man of great vision and foresight in the banking industry. He has served in several positions of leadership in the Tennessee Bankers Association.

Tommy Martin | Executive Vice President 

Tommy Martin also had an early start in banking. After graduating from college at the age of 22, he went to work at Peoples Bank in Clifton. Mr. Martin has experience in almost every position at the Bank, and his commitment to make a career in banking has been proven by his presence here since 1974. He directs many of the day-to-day operations of the Bank. He is a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors.

Susan Clark | Chief Operations Officer/Chief Information Officer

Susan Clark was the first female Cashier of a bank in Wayne County. She has worked at our Bank since 1979 and has experience as a teller, bookkeeper, mortgage loan officer, and is also licensed to sell life and health insurance products. Mrs. Clark now serves as our Chief Operations Officer and Chief Information Officer.

Hayley Inman | Chief Financial Officer

Hayley Inman is a Wayne County native and joined Peoples bank in January 2019. Ms. Inman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Maryville University.  She began her career with Peoples Bank as a Credit Analyst after three years of public accounting experience. From the beginning, Ms. Inman was able to take on additional responsibilities which has provided her with the opportunity to develop strong working relationships with the various teams at Peoples Bank. She serves as Chief Financial Officer and the Board of Directors secretary. 

Kelvin Runions | Chief Lending Officer

Kelvin Runions has been with Peoples Bank since January 2002. After graduating from college, he served as a compliance officer, branch manager and vice president of the Bank of Waynesboro. He was hired at Peoples Bank as a loan officer and now serves as our Chief Lending Officer. Mr. Runions is also a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors.

Jennie Runions, CRCM | Compliance Officer

Jennie Runions first worked at our Bank as a part-time teller while she attended college. Upon graduating college in 2001, she came to work full-time as the Bank’s Compliance Officer. Mrs. Runions has her B.B.A. in Human Resources Management. She received her CRCM certification in 2006 and currently serves our Bank as Compliance Officer.

Byron Davis | Clifton Branch Manager

Byron Davis began his banking career with Peoples Bank in May 1995 following graduation from The University of Tennessee at Martin. He completed The Tennessee School of Banking in 2001 and The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2011. In addition to being Branch Manager at the Clifton office, Mr. Davis serves as Loan Officer, Security Officer and partners with the Human Resource Team for the Bank.

Jerrod Baugus | Waynesboro Branch Manager

Jerrod Baugus came to work in 1995 after graduating with a double major in Marketing and Management and has been working here ever since. He has been a loan officer during that time. He was named Branch Manager of the Waynesboro office in 2008 and oversees 12 employees.

Terrell Yeiser | Hohenwald Branch Manager

Terrell E. Yeiser has worked in finance and banking since graduating from The University of Tennessee at Martin in 1989. He first came to work at Peoples Bank in 1995, from Great Western Bank in South Mississippi. Originally from Waynesboro, he now handles the branch operation and business development of the Hohenwald market. Mr. Yeiser has served as a Board of Director for several local companies in Lewis County, as well as being an active member of the community, which in turn helped lead to the Hohenwald Branch of Peoples Bank being named the Business of the Year for Lewis County in 2014.

Colton Holder | Collinwood Branch Manager

Colton Holder came to work for Peoples Bank in March of 2022 as a loan officer at the bank’s main office in Clifton. A few months later, in August of 2022, he was named branch manager of Peoples Bank’s fourth branch in Collinwood. He oversees a staff of six employees and serves as a consumer and commercial loan officer.  He is a 2018 graduate of The University of North Alabama.
